AMARI RAAYA MALDIVES TO OPEN IN 2023

The upmarket Amari brand's second resort in the Maldives has formally inaugurated, strengthening the development plan of Thailand-based ONYX Hospitality Group. In Q1 2023, Amari Raaya Maldives is anticipated to open. The 200-villa private island resort will be located in the Raa Atoll, which is northwest of Male, the capital of the Maldives. The resort will offer seven food options, a Maai Spa, and a kids' zone. With the addition of Amari Raaya Maldives to Amari Havodda Maldives, the brand's footprint in the Maldives will increase even more.

Mr. Yuthachai Charanachitta, Owner & CEO, ONYX Hospitality Group, commented on the organization's recent performance and stated that in addition to growing their regional footprint, they are also prepared to reposition its three main brands in response to the changing consumer landscape. This also entails updating a few of their important core properties. The leading Asian hospitality group aims to manage 54 sites by 2025. Currently, ONYX manages 44 properties, including 10 that are under construction.
