Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) and the industry partners are promoting the Sunny Side of Life and all its delights at Fitur 2023, the leading trade show for inbound and outbound markets. At the physical expo, held at IFEMA MADRID's Recinto Ferial from January 18 to 22, both business executives and consumers can learn about the wide range of experiences offered in the Maldives. The MMPRC is taking part in its first important travel industry event of the year.

Along with MMPRC, more than 41 participants from 23 corporations attend the event to promote their unique goods, services, and experiences. With an emphasis on promoting the various Maldivian tourist sectors, MMPRC is promoting the diverse experiences offered in the Sunny Side of Life. The goal of taking part in FITUR 2023 is to raise awareness among Spanish tourists about the goods and experiences that can be found in the Maldives and to provide a forum for networking with businesspeople from the Spanish market.

With a total of 42,148 tourists arriving from the market, Spain was among the top 10 markets in terms of arrivals to the Maldives in 2022. MMPRC hosted numerous events last year to further its efforts to advertise the Maldives in this market. Visit Maldives will be marketing the destination this year with OOH advertising in Spain, campaigns with leading tour operators, and online travel agencies, in addition to participating in physical fairs.
