SHERATON FULL MOON HOSTS IFTAR FOR FIYAVATHI ORPHANAGE
For approximately 50 impoverished children and their caregivers from Fiyavathi, a state care facility located in Hulhumale for orphanage children, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa conducted an Iftar giveback session. The youth development program, which utilized our resources by offering opportunities, education, and training, is one of the causes important to his heart. The buildings where the children and teens are housed were improved in part because to money earned the previous year. They are here and prepared to get their hands dirty since there is a lot of work to be accomplished.
The company's 2025 environmental and social goals, which commit to having a good and lasting effect everywhere Marriott conducts business, are aligned with this project. The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa has started several environmental projects, most recently cultivating a "waste zone" that has just received its first watermelon harvest. Paper straws, refillable glass bottles, and ceramic amenity holders were used in place of all plastic products, including bottles, straws, and toiletries. Since its opening in 2020, the resort has been a leader in scalable coral propagation initiatives, leading to the growth of over 20,000 corals.
