In maintaining the goals of the group-wide sustainability initiative Sun Siyam Cares run by Sun Siyam Resorts is dedicated to promoting sustainability, safeguarding marine life, and minimizing environmental impact. The most major endeavour being a coral restoration work in the house reef, Siyam World continues to advance environmental measures. The coral frames are skilfully positioned by resort personnel and visitors to provide habitat for fragments of broken coral and enable them to develop into an artificial reef structure.

The resort's house reef, which depends on this critical project, is taken care of by the on-site local marine biologist Thuhu and her crew, who ensure that the coral has the best chance of growing. Hotel guests can truly make a difference by planting corals and learning how to interact properly with the environment through the coral restoration initiative, which allows visitors to actively participate in protecting the Maldives' natural resources.

Additionally, Siyam World offers weekly Marine Workshops that provide visitors with a fantastic opportunity to learn more about protecting marine life. These workshops include important sustainability issues like coral health, marine biodiversity, and the Maldivian marine ecosystems. In order to inspire people to take responsibility for their impact on the environment, the crew from Siyam World participated in a beach clean-up and awareness workshop at the adjacent local island Manadhoo.

The environmental effect of Siyam World is being significantly reduced thanks to the resort's sustainability measures. The resort encourages visitors to actively support conservation efforts through marine workshops, reef clean-ups, tree planting, and sustainability awareness sessions.
